(9:30 am, Monday January 21)
We have been enjoying our time here in Singapore for the past few days, we have seen and experienced much that this diverse city has to offer. However our time here is almost finished. Today we will be heading to a street market, as I (Brent) am in need of a hat, seeing as I already burned the top of my head. Michelle wants a hip shoulder bag, and we are both in need of a couple articles of clothing. Its not cheap here, and we will be able to find things much cheaper elsewhere, but they do have cool things here.
Tonight we are going on a Night Safari with other people from the Hostel we are at (The Inn Crowd). It takes us on a tram ride around the zoo at night so that we can see all the nocturnal animals at play, and its supposed to be pretty awesome.

Tomorrow we will be heading into Malaysia, with our final destination being Kuala Lampur, the capital. There are buses that go there constantly, so it shouldn't really be a problem. I think we are going to head there slowly, rather than taking a bus straight there, because we have heard there are some cool spots to visit along the way.

A bientot,

Brent

So we found a hotel the night we arrived in the Red Light district of Singapore. Woke up the next morning and made our way to Little India and found the Fragrance Hostel which we are now calling home. Tomorrow night we're trying one of the Lonely Planet's suggestions, The Inn Crowd.
Yesterday we toured the city a bit, made our way on the MRT with our backpacks on to the hostel and then went to this hug electronic mall called Sim Lim Square. It was pretty fun seeing people bargin for prices.
Today we went to find the ocean. We took the MRT to Harbour Front and hiked around the jungle and played beach volleyball. Planning on heading back there tomorrow to play with some pretty good locals we played with today.
Later, Michelle
